About Rob Travis

Rob Travis

I am a nature photographer, but I’m also an observer and admirer of the natural world around me. With practice, I’ve learned to see image compositions almost everywhere and this excites me. I spend time trying to notice the shapes, lines, forms and other elements, which make up the scene before me. By being aware of this, I can sometimes arrange these elements within the frame to create a more natural harmony in the final image. The whole experience of finding and artfully photographing beauty right outside in your own neighborhood or a high mountain vista just amazes and excites me.
